WIAG Global — New Zealand Returns & Refunds Policy

â„č Your Rights: This policy is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes those statutory rights.

🔄 Your Rights Under New Zealand Law

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. If a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or does not match its description, you are entitled to a remedy. Depending on the nature of the fault, this may include:

  • Repair or replacement of the product
  • A full refund if the fault cannot be remedied or is of a substantial nature
  • Compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss

✅ When We Accept Returns

We will accept a return and provide a remedy in the following circumstances:

  • Product arrived damaged or broken during transit
  • Product received is incorrect (wrong varietal or style)
  • Product is defective (manufacturing fault)
  • Product does not match its description on our website
  • Order was cancelled before dispatch from our warehouse
❌ We are unable to accept returns for:
  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer
  • Order refused at delivery
  • Products that have been consumed or partially consumed

Note: Change of mind returns are not required under New Zealand law. However, if you have concerns about your order, please contact us and we will do our best to assist.

📋 How to Request a Return or Refund

  1. Email us at info@wiagglobal.com within 14 days of receiving your order
  2. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of any damage or fault
  3. We will respond within 2 business days with next steps
  4. Do not return products without prior approval — unauthorised returns cannot be accepted due to alcohol import/export regulations

💰 Refund Processing

Once your return or refund request is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear
  • Refunds will be issued in NZD at the exchange rate at time of purchase
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the fault is ours

📩 Shipping Costs for Returns

If the return is due to a fault or error on our part, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs. For all other approved returns, return shipping is at the customer's expense.

⚖ Disputes

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the New Zealand Consumer Protection service or the Disputes Tribunal for assistance.
